Institutional onboarding

Set up SimuPatient for your education programme

A transparent, assisted route for hospitals, medical schools, clinics, simulation centres, and training providers to run controlled pilots or broader synthetic clinical-education programmes.

How onboarding works

  1. Step 1

    Submit a request

Choose pilot or full onboarding and provide organisational—not patient—information.

  2. Step 2

    Agree the educational scope

Define learners, curriculum goals, cases, timing, responsibilities, and measurable success criteria.

  3. Step 3

    Complete readiness review

Confirm governance, privacy, security, accessibility, support, technical, and commercial requirements.

  4. Step 4

    Provision the organisation

SimuPatient creates an isolated invite-only workspace, provisions synthetic cases, and invites the primary organisation admin.

  5. Step 5

    Configure teaching

The admin adds residents and consultants and creates cohorts and assignments. Consultants review cases and rubrics before use.

  6. Step 6

    Test and launch

After platform readiness approval, complete a test encounter and educator review before opening the agreed programme.

  7. Step 7

    Operate and evaluate

Monitor participation, reviews, audit evidence, feedback, and AI usage; then evaluate against the agreed measures.

Who does what

SimuPatient platform team

Reviews requests, provisions isolated organisations, invites admins, approves launch readiness, and monitors platform-wide audit and usage evidence.

Organisation admin

Manages resident and consultant access, cohorts, assignments, the onboarding checklist, tenant audit, and usage within one organisation.

Consultant or educator

Authors and approves synthetic cases and rubrics, reviews transcripts and generated scores, and preserves educator decisions and overrides.

Resident or learner

Practises published or assigned cases, submits diagnostic reasoning, receives formative feedback, and tracks progress.

Choose the right route

Controlled pilot

A bounded evaluation with scope, participant numbers, duration, cases, and success measures agreed during discovery.

Full institutional onboarding

A broader synthetic formative-education rollout, available after governance, security, accessibility, technical, and commercial readiness approval.

SimuPatient is not for real-patient care or identifiable patient data. Full onboarding does not imply completed NHS certification, SSO/LTI, or clinical-system integration.

Start the conversation

Submit one structured request. The platform team will review it before any tenant or access is created.
